• VBS SERVICE - Tonight at 6:00 pm: Kevin Edgington and his team (puppets, drama team and more) from the House of Restoration Church of God in Milford, Oh will be with us for a special VBS service. 
 
• BAPTISM - Sunday, August 1 after the evening service, there will be a water baptism for those desiring to be baptized.   Please see Pastor if you are interested in being baptized.
 
• LADIES' MINISTRY MEETING - Saturday, August 21st at 11:00, is the next Ladies' Ministry Meeting. We invite the Ladies to come and be a part of our special time of prayer, teaching, and fellowship.  Lunch will be served in the Fellowship Hall.
 
• LEADERSHIP MEETING - Saturday, August 14th at  10:00 am
 
• EXTRAORDINARY WOMEN'S CONFERENCE - The Ladies Ministry would like to invite any ladies that would like to attend this year’s Extraordinary Women’s Conference in Ft. Wayne, IN – October 8-9, 2010.  Early Bird Special through September 15, 2010,  Individual Registrations: $59 / Groups of 10+: $49.  If you have any questions or need further information, please see Connie Collier.
 
• NOTE:  The month of August will be the Mission Emphasis for the Country of Peru.  More info to come.
 
• DID YOU KNOW??? - Evangel COG's Annual Community Day is  Saturday, September 11th. 
 
• BIBLES NEEDED FOR INNER CITY KID’S PROGRAM: Members of Evangel have been reaching out and ministering to an Inner City Kid’s program called K.I.N.D – “Kids In New Directions.”  In ministering to these kids, Ages 6 – 18, we found that they are in need of Bibles.  If you would like to donate a New or Gently Used Bible, there will be a donation box under the Missions Board in the foyer.  If you have any questions see Pam McIntosh.

• YOUTH FUNDRAISER: July and August, the youth will be have an "Envelope Fundraiser."  Get your envelope for Pastor Tony or Natalie.
 

• HELPING OUR COMMUNITY •

 
• THRIFT STORE/HEAVEN'S CUPBOARD: Seeking cleaning help ONLY, on Wednesdays, sweeping, mopping, bathrooms etc.  We continue to desire your prayers as the needs in the community increase.
 
• OUTREACH FOOD MINISTRY: The Soup Kitchen will be open to the public on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of each month from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. 
 
• Choir Practice:  Friday, 7:00 pm.
 
• OUR MISSION: TO BE A LIVING AND VISIBLE EXPRESSION OF THE MINISTRY OF JESUS CHRIST TO OUR COMMUNITY, OUR CITY, AND OUR WORLD THROUGH THE SPIRIT OF PENTECOST.
