Pastor David Renfro
Our Senior Pastor and School Administrator
Rev. & Mrs. David Renfro with their
three children came to Evangel Church of God in 1992.
Pastor Renfro became the Youth and Christian Education
Director and the Administrator of the Evangel Academy.
The Renfros worked in the Evangel Church and School for
11 years in many different roles. Those roles included
Director, Administrator, Principal, Teacher, Sunday
School Teacher, Children's Church Director, Music
Director, Youth Pastor, and Custodian among many others.
In 2000 Rev. Renfro became the Associate Pastor of the
church. He worked with Rev. L.O. Prosser until June of
2003 when Pastor Prosser retired.
On June 29, 2003, Rev. Dusty Wilson came to Evangel to
minister. He also conducted a Church Business meeting in
the absence of our state overseer, Tim Hill. Rev. Renfro
was voted in a Pastor of Evangel Church of God at that
meeting.
